Clyde & Co was launched during 2022 following the merger of Halperin Pino and Grasty Quintana Majlis (the latter firm previously in association with London-headquartered global law firm Clyde & Co). The Santiago office houses sector experts in insurance, pharma and construction, while providing ongoing advice on matters involving public agencies. The four-member team also acts for clients during administrative proceedings, including litigation. Leader of the Santiago office’s public, administrative and regulatory law practice, Jorge Meneses, acts for rating agencies, auditing companies and board members before Chile’s Supervisory Authority; and senior consultant Jorge Burgos’s experience includes serving as Interior and Public Security Minister during President Michelle Bachelet’s second term. At associate level, senior Andrés Cabello is the firm’s litigation, arbitration and public law legal director, while Ignacio Arriagada’s disputes practice covers constitutional and regulatory proceedings.
