Tax
Garrigues Chile’s Santiago office focuses on corporate tax and tax litigation, its expertise encompassing transaction-related tax planning. The nine-strong tax team also regularly works alongside its international network’s labour, corporate, banking, finance and project teams on deal-related tax structuring. It is further experienced in high-stakes tax disputes, real estate taxation, and representing HNW individuals and family businesses. The group is led by longstanding tax planning and litigation specialist Óscar Ferrari, while Ignacio Campino is a June 2023 partner recruit from PCM Abogados, who advises on tax and asset-related matters. In the senior associate team, María Jesús Hidalgo Larraín assists with corporate tax planning, restructuring-related tax issues, and local and international taxation; Magdalena Casenave Prat and Simón Aqueveque are also experienced tax practitioners.
