Fielding both experienced senior lawyers and an in-house accountant, Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría’s ‘committed and flexible’ thirteen-strong tax practice focuses on corporate and private wealth matters, domestic and international tax planning, and tax litigation and administrative procedures before Chile’s tax authorities. The practice is co-led by Mario Silva, who assists with corporate and personal taxation, along with tax planning and corporate restructuring; finance, and energy and natural resources sector expert, Guillermo Infante; and tax disputes head Arturo Selman, who was elevated to partner during 2023 and is a former Chilean IRS lawyer.
