Prieto Abogados' ‘efficient, solid and experienced’ tax department is notably experienced in tax-related cases before Chile’s Courts of Justice and specialised Tax Courts. The six-member group also assists with administrative claims brought before Chile’s IRS; direct, indirect and municipal taxes international taxation; and applying double taxation conventions. The practice is co-led by ’incredibly sophisticated lawyer’ Mario Gorziglia, whose workload encompasses the tax aspects of corporate reorganisations; and Leonidas Prieto, an expert in business structure planning and tax-related dispute resolution.
