Acting for some of the largest multinational insurance institutions in the world, as well as leading PRC insurers, Jincheng Tongda & Neal's practice runs the gamut of insurance work. The team’s representative expertise covers the establishment of greenfield insurance operations in China, the formation of insurance joint ventures, insurance companies’ M&A deals, wording reviews for insurance policies, compliance and disputes. The team is co-led from Beijing by Elsie Shi, who maintains a wide-ranging insurance practice, and George Yu, who is particularly focused on insurance M&A and regularly acts for large financial and insurance groups from Europe and the US. Also key to the group, Elizabeth Lan Lan acts for major insurance companies on their investments and operations in China, while Shanghai-based Xiaochen Ying advises insurance asset management companies on insurance capital investments. At associate level, senior associates Celia Luan and Eileen Liu both focus on China insurance law.
