Work highlights

  • Advised Saudi Aramco on its acquisition of a 10 percent interest in Shenzhen-listed Rongsheng Petrochemical Co. Ltd. for RMB24.6 billion (US$3.6 billion). Rongsheng owns a 51 percent stake in Zhejiang Petroleum and Chemical Co. Ltd. (ZPC), which owns and operates the largest single refining and chemicals complex in China.
  • Advised China’s Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co. on a tripartite collaboration agreement with global automaker Ford Motor Co. and nickel producer PT Vale Indonesia Tbk to jointly invest in the Pomalaa Block High-Pressure Acid Leaching (HPAL) Project.
  • Advised multilateral development lenders in a financing to a wind project in Kazakhstan. The project is jointly owned by a Chinese state-owned power utility. One of the sponsors, the contractor, and the main supplier are all Chinese enterprises.
