Felipe Suescún co-heads the practice and is also widely recognised as a market leader; he is acting as local counsel to Refinería de Cartagena (a subsidiary company of Ecopetrol) in an ICC arbitration seated in New York, under Colombian and New York law, concerning a construction dispute. He is also advising a Finland-based company in ICC arbitral proceedings stemming from the construction of thermoelectric plant in Colombia.
