New entrant to the table for 2024, Martínez Quintero Mendoza González Laguado & de la Rosa’s environmental law group has posted significant growth following the arrival of new practice head Camila del Villar in February 2022 from Holland & Knight LLP. Del Villar, who was promoted from director to partner in January 2023, is dedicated to environmental law and sustainable development and is praised by sources for being ‘very knowledgeable about regulation and the market in general’. Significantly, the group added seven new clients over the past year, including Macquarie Group, Norte Santandereana de Gas, and Sika. Associate Daniela Pinilla Mendez, who joined from Pinilla González & Prieto Abogados in March 2022, is also noted. Since publication, the firm has left the DLA Piper network to which it previously belonged - effective as of May 2024.
