New firm Rincón Castro Abogados, formed in early 2023 with the breakaway of key partners from the former Zuleta Abogados Asociados, utilises its firm-wide dispute resolution prowess to shine in complex disputes, regulatory work and international law matters. The group also advises a mix of multinational companies and state entities on infrastructure projects and investment transactions. The increasingly prominent department is co-led by Rafael Rincón, who specialises in international arbitration, international litigation and public international law; Miguel Castro, who has a focus on public procurement and administrative law matters; and Jorge Tirado, who joined from Colombia’s National Agency for Public Procurement in January 2023.
