In recent years, Klaus Søgaard has concentrated his legal work on listed companies, specialising in the work as a chairman and as an adviser on securities law issues. Klaus presides at the general meetings in a number of the biggest Danish companies, including Novo Nordisk, Vestas, Danske Bank, FLS, Tryg and GN Store Nord A/S. Over the years, he has handled general meetings with substantial conflicts. He also advises the listed companies about the disclosure requirements applicable to them.

Emily advises on a broad range of corporate law and capital market matters and is regularly involved in capital markets transactions and M&A transactions both in Europe and in the United States. Prior to joining Gorrissen Federspiel, she spent more than five years practicing as an attorney in New York at Hughes Hubbard & Reed and London at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. Emily has considerable experience advising both issuers and underwriters, including on matters relating to high yield bond issuances and capital restructurings. She was admitted to the New York bar in 2013 and holds a master's degree from Columbia Law School and a PhD from the University of Antwerp.
