Thomas Christian Thune
HortenHorten handles a broad range of matters across the employment sphere, known chiefly for the team’s work pertaining to executive liability, TUPE legislation, handling of collective agreements, disputes with former employees, M&A and M&A-related employment law matters. The team also assists a large number of Danish municipalities, including the City of Copenhagen and the City of Aarhus. Thomas Christian Thune heads up the department, after the departure of Finn Schwarz in January 2023. Thune advises national and international companies on all aspects within labour and employment law, including special focus on salaried employees, transfer of businesses and transaction-related employment law. Erik Wendelboe Christiansen is another important contact for incentive schemes, restrictive covenants, executive service agreements and all matters related to public employment and civil servants.
