Jacob Sandholt provides specialised advice on sector legislation within the field of energy law. Jacob has significant experience with Danish law, EU law and international law - across the value chain. Jacob has particular experience with regulatory matters, transactions and the drafting of relevant agreements. Jacob's expertise also includes public authority matters, for instance applying for and submitting permissions as well as handling complaints brought against the public authorities. Having previously worked for Energinet and Ørsted, Jacob has obtained in-depth knowledge of the energy sector and gained vast specialist knowledge of this field. Accordingly, Jacob is well versed with regulatory matters within the field of energy law and associated areas. Jacob has a Master of Business Law degree from the Copenhagen Business School and has also completed the LL.M programme "North Sea Energy Law Programme" at the universities in Groningen, Oslo, Aberdeen and Copenhagen.

Christian Halskov Sauer is partner in Gorrissen Federspiel's Energy & Infrastructure group and has assisted Danish and international actors in the energy sector for more than 15 years. Christian has been an adviser on renewable projects in more than 30 countries, which has given him significant industry knowledge. Christian has considerable insight into and experience in advising on project development both in Denmark and internationally with focus on onshore and offshore wind, solar energy projects, biogas and power-to-x. Moreover, Christian has globally advised and negotiated FIDIC-based EPC contracts and OMS contracts for renewable projects. As a significant element in connection with renewable projects, Christian advises on different PPA structures and offtake contracts on power-to-x projects. Christian is part of Gorrissen Federspiel's Corporate / M&A practice group and his primary focus is on providing advice in connection with purchase and sale of companies and investments and financing within energy and infrastructure.
