In a significant move, August 2024 saw AVL Abogados incorporate an entire tax team of over 25 lawyers (formerly at Moore Ecuador), under the leadership of partners Elvira de Rosa, Santiago Mosquera I and Roberto M Silva-Legarda; the practice covers the full breadth of fiscal matters, ranging from tax and accounting advisory, compliance and optimization, to investment structuring, international taxation, transfer pricing and tax credit recovery, among other matters (effective as of December 2024).
