  • Advised Philip Morris International (PMI) on acquiring a minority indirect stake (14.7%) in Egypt-based Eastern Company (EAST.CA), Egypt’s largest cigarette manufacturer which also includes cigars and pipe tobacco, among others, in their portfolio. As part of this acquisition, PMI and Eastern seek to explore on a non-exclusive basis, potential strategic areas for mutual long-term collaboration, in the fields of technology, manufacturing, and innovation, including heated tobacco products, paving the way to a path toward a smoke-free future in Egypt.
  • Advised Cairo House – Alliance Law for equity fundraising to an amount of $200m, for the landmark of Tahrir Complex. The Project is the first of its kind to repurpose and utilize the historical publicly owned buildings in the heart of downtown of Cairo.
  • Advised Intercement on their exit from the Egyptian market. The firm’s role included negotiating the main terms and structure of the transaction, planning execution steps with all involved parties, reviewing and redrafting the Share Purchase Agreement (SPA), and preparing post-closing documents.
