TGS Baltic, which merged with PwC Legal in February 2024, has bolstered its EU and competition team depth, while consolidating its strength in competition law investigations and private enforcement cases. The group acts for some of Estonia’s largest companies. The group has a strong track record of appearing before the European Court of Justice and the European Commission, and stands out for state aid-related cases. Advised Nordic Automotive Services Oy on the merger control proceedings before the Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian competition authorities regarding the acquisition of Nissan’s operations in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
Representing one of the biggest fuel retail undertakings in Estonia and a subsidiary of Couche-Tard Circle K in complaint proceedings before the European Commission regarding potential unlawful state aid deriving from the statistics trading system enforced by the Estonian Liquid Fuel Act.
