Roschier’s EU and competition team provides full-service cross-border advice on merger control, antitrust, public procurement, state aid and dominance issues. The team broadened its practice with the arrival of Mikko Alkio and Lasse Nordström from Avance Attorneys Ltd, with vast experience in public competition law and regulatory issues. Ami Paanajärvi heads up the department and advises clients on all types of competition law issues, particularly cartel investigations and merger control and antitrust proceedings before the European Commission, Finnish competition authority and other Finnish and European Courts. Christian Wik is now at Lukander & Ruohola.

Ami Paanajärvi
Partner Ami Paanajärvi is Head of Roschier’s EU & Competition and Public Procurement practices in Finland. She has extensive experience in antitrust proceedings before the European Commission and the Finnish competition authority, and regularly advises clients in all types of competition law issues, particularly related to behavioral antitrust, merger control and dominance issues. Ami is a core member of Roschier’s crossborder FDI & Protective Security practice area and she also has experience in State Aid procedures before the European Commission.
