Dentons' insurance practice strikes a balance between contentious and non-contentious work, covering corporate and regulatory issues - including the design and distribution of insurance products, policy wording and insurance-related transactions - and complex international disputes. The firm advises on all types of insurance, from industrial risks, financial lines and product liability to environmental liability and construction and energy-related insurance, with strong recent experience in business interruption and contractors' all risks claims. The team is led by Frédérique de La Chapelle, who also heads the Europe insurance group, and is skilled across the board of regulatory, transactional and contentious matters, and Paris managing partner Séverine Hotellier, who handles high-stakes litigation for leading domestic and international insurers.
