The practice group at Goodwin routinely assists venture and growth capital funds with the gamut of fundraising, governance and growth matters. Startups in the manufacturing, healthtech and biotech segments regularly feature on the team’s client roster. Leadership is shared between Anne-Charlotte Rivière, who focuses on venture capital in the life sciences and technology sectors; the ‘very experienced’ Thomas Dupont-Sentilles; and Xavier Leroux, who assists startups and scale-ups throughout the corporate life cycle. A recent standout matter saw the group advise H Company on its incorporation, followed by its $220m SeriesSeed financing from VC funds. Félicien Bardsley left the firm in January 2024.
