Debevoise & Plimpton LLP's cross-locational approach is mirrored in the practice group management: Patricia Volhard acts from the Luxembourg, Paris and London locations in addition to Frankfurt, whereas the team focuses on German and Luxembourg fund structures as well as European regulatory law. In line with Volhard's key strengths, the Frankfurt-based practice regularly supports private equity clients in fund launches and related regulatory issues, including ESG-related issues, such as the requirements of the Sustainability Disclosure Regulation in the Financial Services Sector (SFDR), the Taxonomy Regulation and the new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Volhard jointly heads the practice with international counsel Jin-Hyuk Jang, who focuses on regulatory aspects in connection with the structuring, management and distribution of funds.
