Working closely with the firm’s capital markets and restructuring practices, the White & Case LLP real estate finance group led by Thomas Flatten and Gernot Wagner oversees a variety of loans and other capital raising structures for the acquisition and development of property portfolios, in addition to assisting with the restructuring of existing credit facilities. Sébastien Seele is well versed in the latter, in addition to assisting asset managers structure both mortgage-backed facilities and bonds. The October 2024 arrival of A&O Shearman‘s Joachim Schmidt further expanded the firm’s capacity on this front.

Advised Net Zero Properties on the acquisition and financing of a residential portfolio of approximately 3,300 units from the Zentral Boden Immobilien Group.
Advised LFH Portfolio Acquico SARL on financing of the acquisition of a real estate portfolio comprising approximately 5,200 residential units in Germany from Peach Property Group AG and the partial resale and re-investment into Globe Trade Centre S.A.
