DLA Piper advises companies, including various German medium-sized companies, on planned IPOs, private placements, capital increases, share buyback programs and, most recently, increasingly on public takeovers. For international transactions with a US connection, such as SPAC projects, the group cooperates with its US colleagues in London. With practice head Roland Maaß, the practice also houses expertise in various ECM-adjacent areas, such as M&A, stock corporation law, corporate reorganisations and capital market compliance.
