As an integral part of its global network, Hogan Lovells International LLP's German employment practice has a particular focus on restructuring and reorganisation in the insurance, life sciences, automotive and financial services sectors. Matters are often of cross-border nature and usually led by practice head Tim Gero Joppich, who is also experienced in introducing new HR IT systems. Other team members include Kerstin Neighbor and Eckard Schwarz, both of whom are well versed in facilitating reconciliation of interests and social plan negotiations with works councils, while Schwarz also assists with employment litigation.
