Eversheds Sutherland's employment law support focuses on project-based advice on one hand and on ongoing assistance on the other. Key collective employment issues include collective bargaining law (Marco Ferme), negotiations with works councils and unions, reconciliation of interests and social plan negotiations, works agreements, working time regulations and remuneration models; the latter represents a focus for practice head Frank Achilles who also assists with restructuring and transactional matters. Most recently, instructions in the transactional context particularly related to post-merger integrations, including personnel adjustment measures and the harmonisation of working conditions, while other matters concerned working time recording and the Evidence Act. In May 2023, Andreas Krause (employment disputes, restructuring, board advice) made partner, while Susanne Giesecke (individual and collective employment law) left in July 2023 and now practices under perpuls legal.
