Noerr's energy practice focuses on regulatory and contentious matters and advises federal and state ministries, investors, energy companies and suppliers as well as project developers. A recent highlight was advising the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection on the introduction of the energy price cap and gas price cap as part of a plan by the federal government. The team has additional expertise in matters pertaining to the renewable energies, on- and offshore wind, hydrogen, as well as e-mobility sectors; Christian Alexander Mayer is a key contact for ​mobility topics. Another mainstay are national and international transactions as well as financing, here, M&A experts Christoph Spiering and Tibor Fedke regularly take the lead.
