Noerr‘s private clients team acts in close cooperation with the corporate law practice and supports family offices and their foundations in inheritance and succession planning as well as in cross-border transactions. The team also assists with contentious matters, including inheritance disputes, as well as with the structuring of investements and funds. Practice head Tobias Bürgers acts at the corporate law interface and advises family businesses and foundations on governance structures. Michael Tommaso made partner in January 2023 and is a key contact for tax law issues; he regularly acts on behalf of companies and foundations. Frank Schuck is well versed in tax optimisation and also advises on the establishment of foundations and contentious proceedings. The former practice co-head Wolfram Theiss (company succession, establishment of foundations and inheritance disputes) moved to HASS DROSS THEISS RECHTSANWÄLTE PARTNERSCHAFT MBB in August 2023.
