Private equity houses and their portfolio companies are regularly advised across locations and practices; cross-border matters are routinely handled with the location in London. The transactional support is complemented by the advice on buy-and-build strategies and management participations. Maria Weiers heads the team since Walter Henle’s retirement in September 2022; Weiers is well versed in buy-outs and exits. Michael Lamsa moved to Gowling WLG in April 2023, where he co-leads the M&A, PE and VC practices.
