GvW Graf von Westphalen excels in providing construction and planning advice to companies and public sector clients and assists them with approval, administrative and planning approval procedures for energy and infrastructure projects. Recently, the group has been particularly active in LNG projects procedures and further focuses on energy transition and energy security issues, which is reflected in its advice on network expansion, hydrogen and solar energy. This is complemented by expertise in emission control law and waste management, including soil and groundwater issues. Andreas Wolowski and Corinna Lindau, both experienced in approval procedures (also nature conservation and water law), jointly head the practice and thus took over from Ronald Steiling (approval and planning approval procedures) in January 2024; Steiling remains with the team.
