Watson Farley & Williams LLP's procurement team assists public contracting authorities and bidding companies with infrastructure and digitisation projects and focuses on supply, disposal, health, e-mobility and telecommunications. Thematically, the team deals with review and award procedures for the expansion of local public transport and charging infrastructure as well as for the modernisation and digitisation of IT infrastructure. This is complemented by expertise in antitrust-related matters and PPP projects. Practice head Felix Siebler (construction and modernisation of future-proof, digital infrastructure) joined GvW Graf von Westphalen in January 2025.

  • Advising DEGES Deutsche Einheit Fernstraßenplanungs- und -bau GmbH on the conception, preparation and implementation of the Europe-wide tendering procedure for the PPP project concerning the A1 federal motorway in the section between T+R Münsterland and AS Osnabrück-Hafen. In addition, successful representation in review procedures.
  • Advice on the establishment and structuring of hospital IT as a so-called shared service center for the development of central structures in the areas of IT, communication and cybersecurity for currently more than 60 participating hospital operators with 106 hospitals with the participation of the Bavarian Hospital Association eV and the Bavarian Ministry of Health, Care and Prevention.
