Redeker Sellner Dahs focuses on infrastructure projects. On one hand, this concerns energy projects; here the practice advises on both construction and dismantling of power plant projects as well as plant construction, often for energy generation companies, while another focus lies on construction advice in the rail and road construction arena. This construction-related expertise is complemented by relevant litigation experience; this includes contentious matters concerning construction costs, construction delays, consequential damages and contract terminations relating to various construction projects, including residential and commercial. The practice further assists clients with multi-party contracts and, thanks to its close cross-practice cooperation, can also advise construction projects on environmental, planning and procurement law. The team is led by construction and architectural law experts Dieter Merkens and Philipp Hummel; while Merkens is also well versed in litigation, Hummel regularly accompanies arbitration proceedings. Cornelia Finster is another key contact for contentious issues and complements her construction law expertise with capacities in real estate law.
