King & Spalding LLP places a particular focus on advising real estate funds, but is also instructed by banks and asset managers to advise on issues relating to real estate financing and securities law. From its Frankfurt office, the practice assists with transactions across various asset classes, including logistics, residential and office, and advises lenders on the design of financing structures. The practice group is jointly headed by financial lawyer Sebastian Kaufmann, who is admitted to practice in Germany, New York and England and Wales, fund structuring expert Andreas Böhme and counsel Moritz Heidbuechel, who advises on industry-specific asset and share deals.
