Noerr focuses on transaction, fund and group tax law and thus advises large national and international companies, investment funds, insurance companies and wealthy individuals on tax aspects of transactions, investments and restructuring; this is complemented by experience in succession issues and tax proceedings. Tax advisor Carsten Heinz (transactional tax law, corporate reorganisations) and Georg Edelmann, who is experienced in the tax structuring of large medium-sized companies, international companies and financial institutions as well as in tax audits and tax litigation, jointly head the practice. The arrival of Andre Happel from Fieldfisher in February 2023 further strengthened the transactional tax practice, while succession planning expert Michael Tommaso made partner in January 2023.
