Tax
Clifford Chance's tax team advises domestic and foreign credit institutions, companies, institutional investors, fund and asset management companies on financial and corporate tax law, fund and asset management, as well as transactions and real estate tax matters. On contentious level, the team covers litigation, internal investigations and audits as well as cum-ex and cum-cum matters. Practice head Felix Mühlhäuser routinely acts in the restructuring and transaction context, such as in matters pertaining to structured financing and corporate structuring. Here, he is supported by Dominik Engl, among others. In January 2024, the group also welcomed Stefan Herr from PwC Legal (PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft), who is experienced in the tax structuring of investment funds.
