BBG und Partner is primarily instructed by municipalities thanks to the team's expertise in public transport and regional rail transport, which covers all relevant aspects in this context and in particular the support in state aid and procurement law. Other competencies include the advice on e-mobility and car sharing systems as well as decarbonisation projects. Sibylle Barth also focuses on the public transport sector and is key contact for new mobility, while Lorenz Wachinger covers railway law. Niels Griem is experienced in procurement procedures and is regularly instructed by public sector clients. Malte Linnemeyer advises on procurement law issues in the local rail transport sector. In January 2023, Hubertus Baumeister (focus on the public transport) switched to of counsel status; Jantje Struß (municipal, public procurement and state aid law) made partner at the same time.
