Situated within a global network, the India group at A&O Shearman represents domestic clients and foreign investors in a wide range of matters including debt finance, capital markets, dispute resolution, corporate M&A and energy. The practice is collectively led by five partners: Sheila Ahuja KC; Pallavi Gopinath Aney; Gautam Narasimhan; Harsh Pais; and Rishi Hindocha. Ahuja leads the international arbitration practice and has expertise in disputes related to joint ventures, energy projects and infrastructure matters, while Aney heads the capital markets group and focuses on debts and equity. Narasimhan advises numerous banking clients in private equity and credit funds. Pais is based in London and leads the global corporate practice, and Hindocha specialises in restructuring and insolvency.
