  • Advised Smurfit Kappa Groupn relation to a successful combination with American packaging company WestRock Company, to form Smurfit WestRock by way of a scheme of arrangement pursuant to Part 9 of the Companies Act 2014.
  • Advised Brightbay Real Estate Partners on an application to strike out proceedings instituted by a liquidator in respect of a £56m claim on the basis of the common law principle that a tax liability in a non-EU foreign jurisdiction is not enforceable in Ireland.
