Adv. Golan is a partner in Firon and heads its labor law department. The law firm of Adv. Tamar Golan & Co. - which was recognized as one of Israel's leading labor law "boutique" law firms – was founded by Tamar Golan in 1984. In January 2017, the firm merged with M. Firon & Co. Over the years, Adv. Golan has provided legal services to a variety of clients, in complex situation, negotiations and cases, including in their interaction with labor unions and the Ministry of Finance as well before all instances of the Israeli courts and in ADR proceedings. Adv. Golan has been at the forefront of complex and precedent-setting proceedings and has been involved in some of the most significant and important collective-bargaining negotiations in the Israeli economy. In representing major organizations in the food industry, Adv. Golan has played a prominent role in shaping precedential rulings and case law, including by the Supreme Court, on the legal aspects of termination of relationships between large organizations and their distributors and other service providers. Over the years she has also been actively involved in representing the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Finance in several disputes with the Attorney General's office. Adv. Golan has recently represented the Organization of Travel Companies in Israel, which is made up of some hundreds of travel companies – primarily in the field of public transport – in its collective bargaining negotiations with Israel's foremost labor union. The successful completion of said negotiations brought about a dramatic change in the transport sector. Adv. Golan has wide experience in the field of pensions, with regard to both veteran and new funds, and with the changes that have been introduced by virtue of expansion orders and by new guidelines by the Capital Market, Insurance and Savings Department of the Ministry of Finance.
