Nishimura & Asahi

Nishimura & Asahi‘s team supports both financiers and borrowers on a broad spectrum of domestic and cross-border banking transactions, including asset financing, acquisition financing, and corporate and syndicated loans. The team is co-led by Kosuke Shibukawa and Takashi Saito, with the former managing asset finance transactions for a range of assets, including aircraft, train, and marine containers, and the latter specialising in acquisition finance, subscription finance, and syndicated lending. Katsu Sengoku brings expertise in asset financing and trading transactions, while Adrian Joyce has extensive experience in cross-border asset finance within the energy, transportation, and infrastructure sectors. Another member to note is Hideo Horikoshi, who specialises in advising on complex finance transactions with a focus on acquisition finance deals.
