Ogier

Ogier supports clients working across a broad spectrum of asset classes, including real estate and infrastructure, hedge and private equity funds, as well as an increasing following amongst VC funds. The group advises on formation and restructuring processes, in addition to regulatory requirements. Practice head Niamh Lalor is noted for her work on both private equity and venture capital fund formations and capital raisings. Emily Haithwaite focuses primarily on private equity funds, advising across the lifecycle of fund structures and also acting for investors looking to invest in Jersey vehicles, with Sophie Reguengo handling both real estate and private equity matters. Matt McManus, partner as of May 2024, and Alexandra O’Grady are recommended for matters concerning fund launches, closings and regulatory obligations affecting their day-to-day operations, including AML regulations.
