Osborne Clarke launched a new Miami office in 2023 through the hire of senior lawyer Javier Fernández-Samaniego, the former managing partner of Samaniego Law SL. Fernández-Samaniego currently has a major focus on international arbitration, both commercial and investor-state, in Latin America, though he also has a background in technology projects and disputes. In recent years, he has split his time between his home jurisdiction of Spain and Miami, though is now committed to growing the firm’s presence in the Florida city.
