Foley & Lardner LLP expanded its Latin America team in 2023 with the hire of two experienced partners in Federico Goudie and Ruben Diaz from Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP. Diaz brings a background in cross-border M&A, joint-ventures and investments, while Goudie has represented a multitude of financial institutions, multinationals and sovereigns in capital markets offerings, structured trade finance, project finance and derivatives, along with M&A and private equity deals. They have joined a wider Latin America team that is highly rated for international arbitration and has pre-existing expertise in corporate transactions.
