Dentons established a stronger foothold in Latin America venture capital and emerging growth company work with the hire of Jackson Hwu from Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP in February 2024. Hwu brings an established record in representing start-ups, emerging growth companies and venture capital funds, with a particular focus on Brazil and the wider Latin America region. He joins a much larger and highly-rated venture technology and emerging growth companies group, which also includes Christopher Tillson, another Latin America expert, who was hired from K&L Gates in 2023.
