Ellex

Ellex‘s EU and Competition team has particular strength in antitrust, state aid and merger control cases, competition litigation, daily compliance, and advisory matters. They are involved in significant matters, before the Latvian courts as well as the European Commission and the European Court of Justice. Their work includes advice regarding product development and expansion – leading to a change in control and subsequently requiring merger notification to the European Commission. Practice head Līga Merwin utilises her ’broad experience, knowledge, and business acumen’ and has particularly strong expertise in consumer and retail, pharmaceutical, energy, and financial services industries.
