The department is headed by Christopher Harrison, who leads the firm’s global tax practice. Senior partner Lydia Challen, who chairs the Tax Committee of the Law Society of England and Wales, has experience in all aspects of corporate tax. Charles Yorke handles asset finance and capital markets transactions, in addition to his contentious practice. James Burton is a key contact for transactions in the real estate sector. Tim Harrop has experience in tax aspects of M&A, reorganisations, and equity capital markets transactions. Vimal Tilakapala, who is a Deputy Judge of the Upper Tribunal, provides support as a consultant.
