The department’s sector expertise covers financial services, partnerships and natural resources, along with media, entertainment, private wealth, international trade, and retail and leisure. It is additionally experienced in cross-jurisdictional actions. Dispute resolution head Tania MacLeod, who ’combines phenomenal courtroom nous with exceptional leadership skills’, specialises in tort, company, partnership and insolvency disputes. Deputy group leader Simon Walton is an expert in commercial, company and shareholder disputes, contentious restructuring, and defamation and professional negligence claims. Anthony Field is experienced in civil fraud and unlawful means conspiracy claims, while Ian Bean acts in complex litigation and asset tracing and recovery matters.
