Work highlights

  • Ddefending against a claim brought by the administrators of Phones 4U alleging that three UK-based Mobile Network Operators and their parent companies colluded with each other to procure a coordinated exit from contractual relationships with Phones 4U, leading to Phones 4U’s administration.
  • Defending against High Court proceedings concerning knowing receipt of fees and commissions from a client of the brokerage which is alleged to have defrauded investors.
  • Acted on a highly expedited judicial review against BEIS brought by several major UK energy companies, in what is the first case involving an energy supply company being put into litigation, and one of the few cases concerning the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement.
