- Successfully represented Romania in a $6.7bn ICSID arbitration, which was initiated by Canadian and UK investors under Romania’s bilateral investment treaties (BITs) with Canada and the UK, in relation to a gold mining project.
- Successfully represented subsidiaries of Indiana Resources in a $110m ICSID arbitration, which invokes the UK-Tanzania BIT against Tanzania, following legislative reforms in the mining sector that revoked mineral retention licenses.
