Work highlights

  • Represented Canadian uranium mining company WWM in its treaty claims against the Republic of Kazakhstan, arising out of the expropriation of its uranium mining assets in the late 1990s.
  • Successfully represented Gold Pool in bringing an application in the Commercial Court pursuant to s.67 of the Arbitration Act (involving a full re-hearing of the issue of jurisdiction).
