Akin
Akin joins the ranking this year having built up a presence in the European CLO market as part of a broader structured finance and securitisation practice. To leverage the vast experience of the partners based in the US, the firm hired Dasha Sobornova from Mayer Brown International LLP in 2022, who brings extensive knowledge of the EU and UK securitisation regulation, on which she advises arrangers, investment managers, investors and corporate services providers. Her prime focus is on CLO transactions, though she has experience in RMBS, derivatives, and credit funds transactions. She is a key adviser to anchor clients, among them KKR Credit Advisors, on European transactions.
