The CMS defendant clinical negligence team ‘complement each other well and have good leadership from senior members’. Yvonne Screene leads the team, with experience dealing with high-profile and sensitive claims, as well as representing clinicians at inquests and in professional disciplinary investigations. The team has longstanding relationships with the Medical Defence Union and the Dental Defence Union, and is experienced in high-value, complex work.
