Shakespeare Martineau LLP‘s personal injury team is led by the ’excellent‘ Martin Usher, and is experienced in a range of serious injury cases, including claims involving traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopaedic injuries, fatal accidents and amputations. Kent Pattinson is particularly experienced in serious injury claims. Work highlights

  • Instructed by the Jesus Fellowship Survivors Association to assist with the negotiation of the creation of a compensation scheme, which became operational in September 2022, to compensate former children and adults in the care of the client who suffered abuse.
  • Secured compensation for around 75 clients who were abused whilst in the care of the London Borough of Lambeth as children, via the Lambeth Children’s Homes Redress Scheme.
  • Representing multiple passengers in the same vehicle who were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a tree at speed.
